Islamic theology

Posted on December 17, 2011 |

Inspired by the notion of theology by J. Kenneth Grider “theology is not just preach what the Bible says, but also what it means.” – In A Wesleyan-Holiness. I want to make sense of god’s little in terms of Islamic theology.

god in Islam is called by the name “Allah” or in the Arabic alphabet consists of (alif, lam, lam, ha). Have in common with the writings of Christianity, but slightly different pronunciation. Islam was brought and spread by a man named Muhammad who was born of a mother named Aminah and had a father named Abdullah, he was raised by a grandfather named Abdul MuthalibMuhammad who introduced to the population mecca of islamic theology. Until now the teachings of Islam is the religion of Islam has been spread all over the world.

Islam is the religion of his god “Allah” who created the heavens and the earth, all-seeing, all-hearing, all-wise, all-powerful over all things and other properties owned by gods who summed up in the “Asmaul Husna” or Beautiful Names and Attributes.

The question, why is the Islamic name for God’s name is “Allah“. In accordance with title I wear the islamic theology, I want some questions answered and explained above.

The word “Allah” consists of two words, namely “al” and “ilah” are combined into a “Allah“. The word “al” that means God, and “ilah” that means God. so the meaning of the word “Allah” of his Lord God. Why is that ..?

Many of the human race at that times that makes creatures, or inanimate objects like rocks, fire, etc. are used as a worship and make it as a god to worship. The position of the Lord “Allah” itself is God of gods that people worship. In the sense of “Allah” it is the king of all kings on the face of this earth. The almighty of everything.  Sodaqallah…
