Muslims: a term Universal

The word “Muslims” a language is a form isim fa’il (description of the perpetrator) of the verb “aslama – yuslimu – Islam” means submission and surrender. So the “Muslims” is a submissive surrender to God’s law system, so that this predicate can be addressed to anyone who aslama (submissive; obedient) to His law.
Islam itself is the name of the din of God which contains a set of teachings and rules of law which is premised devotion to Him. But the Muslims themselves are often castrated term was limited to those addressed to the Islamic religion, though the terms Islam and Muslim prophetic existed long before Muhammad. Perhaps one of religion Islam formally, but he was not among the Muslims because he did not obey the rules of the law of God.
The term Muslim confirmed as naming an existing long ago as in surah Al-Hajj (22) paragraph 78 below:
And ye strive in Allah’s way with a genuine jihad. He has chosen you and He never made upon you in religion a narrowness. (Follow) Abrahamic religion of your parents. He (God) has named you all the Muslims of the first and (so is) in (Al Quran) is, that the Messenger a witness over you and that you all be witness to all men, then establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and you hold the rope of Allah. He is the Protector, and it is He the Best of the Best Protector and Helper.
The word Muslim is also leaning to the prophet Moses as can be read in his instructions to his people listed in the letter of Yunus (10) paragraph 84 as follows:
He said: “O my people, if ye believe in Allah, then put thy trust in Him alone, if you really who have surrendered.”
The same naming was also described in the prophet Lut in letters A-Dzariyat (51) verses 35-36 as follows:
Then we remove the people who believe in the country’s people of Luth. And We did not find the country, but a house of people who have surrendered (Muslims).
Recognition as a Muslim is also mentioned by the queen Balqis in dialogue with the prophet Sulaeman as indicated in carrying a letter an-Naml (27) paragraph 42 below:
And when it comes Balqis, ditanyakanlah to him: “Similar to this the throne?” He replied: “As if this throne throne, we have been given prior knowledge and we are the ones who have surrendered (Muslims).”
Similarly, the word Muslim is also leaning against the followers of the prophet isa (jesus) the letter of Ali Imran (3) paragraph 52 below:
And when Jesus knew their disavowal (Bani Israelites), he said: “Who will be helpers to (establish the religion) of Allah?” The hawariyyin (loyal friends) said: “We are the helpers (religion) of Allah, we believe in God, and bear witness that we are the ones who have surrendered (Muslims).
And Al Mâ’idah (5) Paragraph 111 as follows:
And (remember) when I inspired the faithful followers of Jesus: “Believe ye in me, and to mine apostles.” They answered: We believe and bear witness (O Messenger) that we are indeed people who are submissive (Muslims). “
In conclusion, that the word Muslims is not an exclusive term that simply leaning to the followers of the prophet Muhammad per se, but this term is universal to anyone which submissive (aslama) on the system of rules of Allah (din al-Islam). So al-Islam is a system of submission and obedience to God who taught him to every prophet and messenger whom he sent to every nation which vary throughout the history of humanity.
