Prior to evangelize someone who is not yet know the Lord, first of all we must first believe, know the gospel and also must have a clear and firm about what we believe. But today many evangelists who neglect theology and vice versa many theologians who do not preach the gospel.

Theology is the knowledge of God’s Word systematically and its application in our lives. True theology should produce the correct application. We see an example of Paul. Evangelism should be based on theology and theology should be based on the revelation of God in the Bible. This relation between theology and evangelism When evangelize others, we often will deal with man-made fortifications and ideological philosophy. We will face the mind as opposed to the word of God. Actually understanding of philosophy (philosophy) itself is a love wise (Philea = love, Sofie = wise). Philosophy of trying to understand the nature and reality of this world. Trying to understand the philosophy of reality, knowledge, ethics, truth, meaning of life and everything.
But Without the revelation of God, man can not understand the true reality, truth and meaning in life. Without God’s revelation, philosophy does not find the bright illumination but only groping in the dark.
